Online and Telephone Counselling
About Online Counselling
For online counselling sessions I use a video conferencing platform called Zoom. You do not need to download software to use Zoom, you can join the session via the invitation link, through your browser. Zoom encrypts all audio/video content from leaving your computer to its destination - the person receiving the contact.
In response to the emergency guidance in relation to COVID-19, I am presently only working remotely with my clients, by telephone or online, to be able to offer continuity of therapeutic support at this challenging time.
Please feel free to contact me, without obligation, if you would like to know more about working therapeutically online, or by telephone.
Ensuring your Privacy During Sessions:
To protect your privacy, I recommend that clients do not use a shared or public computer, or device for online sessions. Be mindful of the space in which you choose to hold a telephone or online counselling session, avoiding public areas where you may be overheard by others.
Please note that Counselling is NOT an emergency support service; if you are in crisis, you should go to your GP or your nearest A&E department.
